Amazon Coin Holder Review
The Amazon coin holder I already purchased 3x from Amazon does exactly what I want. It is durable, economical and it does protect my silver rounds and silver coins from minor bumps or bangs. I guess they would work fine for gold also but gold is too much cash for me to be able to afford. I stick to silver. This Amazon coin holder review is straightforward and easy to do.
Cheap, Secure and Individual 1 oz. Capsules
Each Amazon coin holder comes with an outer box with 60 individual capsules. Officially the description says it is a 60 piece 41 mm coin holder silver eagles coin capsules clear plastic. Since that is way too much of a mouthful I just refer to it as my 1-ounce silver round and coin holder. It comes with a microfiber cleaning cloth and one pair of cotton finger cots. I will admit I never heard of a finger cot before. They look like a finger condom to me but what the heck do I know. I use the cloth for my glasses and I don’t know if I still have the cots. I would not recommend anyone buy this item for those items as they are nothing special. I did not even know they were coming when I placed my first order of the coin holders.
Durable and Economical for Stacking Silver
I stack silver and that is my priority. I have some classic coins from The United States and Canada and a few other nations. I have never had an issue with the case or the individual capsules. The capsules are of decent quality and do well for me. I store my generic rounds in them simply because I want to keep the shine on them and the capsules are virtually airtight. So the silver should not tarnish. I have had a bunch of coins and rounds in the capsules for 6 months and the silver is shiny as ever.
Not For Security
The Amazon coin holder that holds the 60 capsules will obviously offer no security at all. The case does make it easy and convenient to carry your treasures when you want to remove them from whatever secure location you use. When the container is full of silver it will weigh slightly more than 3.75 pounds as coin/round weight does vary slightly. Since I do not really ever take my precious metals out for a walk the Amazon coin holder works great.
Amazon Coin Holder Value
The Amazon coin holder is worth the money as it is not expensive at all. I have purchased three so far and I will get more as needed. This item is what I used when I just started stacking silver. It works fine. It holds your coins and rounds and protects them. It is pretty straightforward.
